Al Seef.
Every Thread Remembers.
Dolce & Gabbana's Ramadan 2026 collection reimagines the Moroccan caftan not as costume, but as living heritage — cut in silk satin and crepe, built to move. We shot it in the one corner of Dubai still built from the same instinct: Al Seef, where the rugs, the spice sacks, and the wooden doors have been telling the same story for longer than anyone can date.
Al Seef sits where old Dubai still runs along the Creek — wind-tower houses, rug stalls stacked three deep, spice sacks arranged by color before they're arranged by name. Nothing here was built to look old. It simply never stopped being what it always was.
That is the same argument Dolce & Gabbana is making with this collection. The caftan does not need reinventing — it needs to be trusted. Soft rose, sky blue, sand, and deep jewel tones move the same way the rugs behind Walaa have moved for generations: not for effect, but because the material demands it.
Late afternoon light through the souk's narrow lanes, saffron and rosewater in the air, the call to prayer not far off — the kind of scene a campaign can borrow but never manufacture.
